This army is built around gruesome Crypt Ghouls as they ransack villages, feed on the peasants and spread plagues throughout the Empire, all to please their Vampire masters. To fit in with the background of the army there are plenty of freshly harvested villagers, in the form of Zombies and Corpse Carts. Also, a Crypt-Ghoul themed army wouldn't be complete without a dreaded Varghulf. A Vampire with the Ghoul Kin Vampiric Power allows the bulk of the army to make a free march move at the start of the game, really allowing this army to threaten an opponent from the offset. Each Crypt Ghoul unit is led by a Vampire to help with march moves and for extra punch in close combat. A unit of Zombies can be used to slow down enemy infantry in a long, drawn-out melee and to lure enemies into combat. The Battle Standard Bearer, General, Necromancer and Corpse Carts all help to keep the main fighting force up and running at full effect as casualties inevitably occur.  The Fell Bats, Dire Wolves and the fearsome Varghulf should be enough to see off any pesky fast cavalry and push forward to threaten any artillery pieces before turning around and feasting on the opponent's flanks!
