BLACK ORC TRIBES - A BLACK ORC GALLERY title image.
Picture of a regiment of Black Orc miniatures.
Black Orcs are the biggest and strongest of all Orcs, and they get their name from their dour, grim demeanour as much as from the colour of their skin, which is extremely dark green or black. They are bigger than normal Orcs and pride themselves on being the best fighters of all. They take war much more seriously than other Orcs and have the best equipment. Many of their fearsome weapons were captured in battle and are carried as a mark of the Black Orcs' self-evident superiority, while other weapons are from tribute paid by subjugated tribes. On the following pages, we present five examples of different Black Orc tribes, their history, and how to paint them.
