Christian created his entire Technicus Army with Games
Workshop products along with balsa-wood, Styrofoam, cloth, string,
plastic carton, and wire.

| As mentioned earlier, all of the characters fit
into the technological theme of the army. With the exception
of the Wizard with the Lore of Metal, all the characters are
Engineers...with Hochland Long Rifles, no less! |

| The war balloon is the display centerpiece of
the army and is the most ambitious conversion. Christian used
some pieces out of his bitz box like wagon wheels, lances, banner
poles, shields, choppa blades, barrels, buckets, the steam cannon
turret, and more. For the balloon crew, Christian used the old
Halfling command models. For more on the balloon, click

| Pistoliers are a must for any Engineer army. These
guys are ready right out of the blister. Christian's biggest
conversion on this unit involved giving his Pistolier Marksman
a repeater pistol. |
To build on this already impressive army, Christian
is planning on adding a unit of Huntsmen with light hunting rifles
(rather than longbows). That project, however, will have to wait
for another article.
