Daemon Engine of Khorne: Modeling a Brass Scorpion

Brass Scorpions are enormous daemon engines of Khorne that had been almost forgotten since the days of Epic 40,000. These unstoppable killing machines recently began popping up on Warhammer 40,000 battlefields thanks to their inclusion in the Apocalypse rulebook. While Games Workshop doesn't make a model of this Daemonic construct, the Apocalypse datasheet shows a photo of a Brass Scorpion cleverly converted out of a couple of Defiler kits. What follows is not one, but two step-by-step Brass Scorpion construction guides by veteran hobbyists Ed Sires and Bob Weiss. Ed and Bob's models differ quite a bit from the one featured in the book (for one thing Ed and Bob got the memo that scorpions have eight legs) and should give you plenty of ideas on how to go about building your own. Finally, don't feel constrained by these guides. There are hundreds of ways to go about building a Brass Scorpion of your own, and there is no reason any two should be alike!
